Mark Dorries

Prior to starting The Dorries Group, Mark Dorries worked over fifteen years in the private sector in the mobile equipment manufacturing industry, the solid waste industry, and the environmental services industry. After graduating from Jacksonville State University with a B. S. in Accounting, Mark went on to hold accounting positions from Cost Accountant to Controller in both Fortune 500 companies and small to mid-size companies. He then went in to operations and worked as a plant manager and as a Vice President, Operations in the mobile equipment manufacturing industry.

Patrick Van Every

Patrick was born into the waste industry, he is the son of Dennis Van Every. Dennis is a vetern waste professional with Waste Management for over 30 years. Patrick has been employed in various positions in the waste management industry for both regional and national companies for the past 14 years of his professional career. Patrick was part owner of a waste company in SC before selling his interest to pursue other opportunities including WR. Patrick is also the Regional Sales Manager for TransComp Systems in which he sells software systems to waste hauling companies. Patrick was selected for Greenville Magazine’s Best and Brightest Under 35 for 2002. He has served on the Board of Advisors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, holds the position of VP of Economic Development for the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce and an Ambassador for the Greater Greenville Chamber Commerce.
